Upon restart, I went back to the system logs. and the dock was still active if I moved my mouse to reveal it.Īfter waiting a few minutes, I held the power button down. everything seemed to quit, but the computer just stuck on the mountain backdrop image. I marked the time (00:41:20) and then selected restart. I can only effectively shut down or restart if I've booted in safe mode.
